Honey. Supermarket vs. Local

Our Honey

Supermarket Honey

Never heated in extraction Heated to extract as much honey from each comb
Contains propolis and pollen, adding to the nutritional benefit and can be traced to source Pollen is removed, making the honey untraceable
Cloudier, unfiltered and can even crystallise Clear, more aesthetically pleasing but lacking in nutrition and taste
Each harvest has its own distinctive taste, based on the flora present in the harvest Has a standardised taste vastly different from natural honey due to mass importation and mixing
Contains live enzymes and a higher nutritional value All live enzymes are destroyed by heat
None of the honey is made using cheap sugar / corn syrup Flower nectar is substituted with corn syrup to provide higher yields
